Caring for Chromebooks
District-issued Chromebooks are to be used for school activities. Only Stillwater Area School students can log into district-issued Chromebooks.
You are responsible for the general care and protection of your District-issued Chromebook.
- No food or drink should be near devices.
- Cords, cables, and removable storage devices must be carefully put into the device.
- You are not allowed to decorate the exterior of the device. This includes stickers, decals, or other markings.
- Heavy objects should never be put on top of a device.
- Pick up and carry your Chromebook by the keyboard, not the screen (This is the most common cause of damage).
- Make sure there is nothing on the keyboard before closing the lid of the Chromebook.
- Each Chromebook contains a SAPS barcode sticker. Do NOT remove, damage, or change the sticker in any way.
