History
Simple timelines, how to ask questions and find information about history, comparing and contrasting changes in common ideas over time (i.e., transportation, communication)
Geography
Spatial understanding, maps of familiar places, local examples of physical and human geography (i.e., St. Croix River, St. Croix Crossing bridge)
Economics
Concepts of cost, scarcity, and trade
