Sixth Grade Physical Science is a course developed around the Physical Science standards of the Next Generation Science Standards.  Students will build a foundation of scientific skills including scientific inquiry, measuring in science, science lab processes, and developing evidence-based claims.  An emphasis is placed on developing and using models, analyzing and interpreting data, constructing explanations and designing solutions, and evaluating and communicating information. Topics of study include: Matter and its Interactions; Motion and Stability - Forces and Interactions; Energy; LEGO Robotics; and Waves and their Applications in Technologies for Information Transfer.
