21 Student-Athletes Sign National Letters of Intent
PONY ACTIVITY CENTER -- April 17, 2024 -- In the final National Signing Day of the season, 21 student-athletes signed their National Letters of Intent to continue their education and athletic careers.
The morning celebrated student-athletes from 11 different sport programs, showcasing the depth of Stillwater athletic programs. Teams, students, and parents gathered at the Pony Activity Center to witness the official commitments as the future grads go on to represent the Ponies in seven different states across 17 colleges and universities.
Of the group, student-athletes are set to compete across all levels at Division I, II, III, and NAIA, while five student-athletes from girls hockey and four from baseball led team representation.
With the final signing session of the 2023-24 campaign, Stillwater Area High School currently boasts a total of 45 student-athletes moving on to compete at the collegiate level.

A National Letter of Intent is a binding agreement between a prospective student-athlete and an NLI member institution with the commitment that the institution provides financial aid for one academic year. The spring signing session comes after the Nov. 8 official signing day for all sports outside of football, and the winter signing period on Feb. 7.
