Business students compete at nationals
Six Stillwater Area High School students competed in the Business Professionals of America (BPA) National Leadership Conference in Dallas, Texas.
SAHS had a strong showing in the competitions:
- Philip Eviston - Interview Skills, 5th place
- Philip Eviston and Abbey Kovalak - Presentation Management Team, 11th place
- Mushtaq Ibrahim, Jay Lohr, Maxine Osei - Podcast Production Team, top 40
- Abbey Kovalak - Entrepreneurship, top 40
- Coolsjes Singhvi - JAVA Programming, top 40
Less than 15% of students nationwide qualify for the conference, which provides business learning experiences and networking opportunities with professionals across the nation.

Being recognized among the state's most outstanding players, Josie St. Martin has been named a top-10 semifinalist for the 2024 Ms. Hockey Award, while goaltender Lily Timmons has been named as a top-10 semifinalist for the 2024 Jori Jones Award.
