District Celebrates Retirees
STILLWATER, Minn. -- May 28, 2024 -- For their years of service to students and Stillwater Area Public Schools, 26 individuals were celebrated at the 2024 Retirement Dinner.
Hosted by Superintendent Dr. Mike Funk and members of the School Board, staff members were honored with a social hour, dinner, and a recognition ceremony at Lake Elmo Inn Event Center on May 22.
Six of the 26 retirees held 30 or more years of service in the District, while Nancy Duberstein reached an outstanding 44 years of service at Oak-Land Middle School. Overall, the group averaged over 23 years of service, and combined for over 608 years of experience in the District.
The care, dedication, and service of these individuals made a tremendous impact on countless students. Stillwater Area Public Schools congratulates them on their successful careers and wishes them each the best in retirement.
