District Seeking Community Members for New Finance Advisory Committee
District Seeking Community Members for New Finance Advisory Committee

Stillwater Area Public Schools is launching a new Community Finance Advisory Committee (CFAC) and is inviting community members to apply for participation.

The Community Finance Advisory Committee is a standing advisory group established to provide community insight, feedback, and perspective on the district’s financial priorities and long-range planning. The committee serves in an advisory capacity and does not hold decision-making authority.

Through regular discussion and review, CFAC will help foster transparency, strengthen communication, and support responsible stewardship of district resources to ensure strong academic experiences for all students.

The committee will consist of approximately 15 members, representing a broad range of perspectives from across the Stillwater Area Public School District and its 18 communities. Membership may include district residents, parents or guardians of enrolled students, and local business or community leaders.

Meeting Schedule

For the current school year, the committee will meet twice:

  • Monday March 2

  • Tuesday, April 14

The committee will hold regular quarterly meetings starting in the 2026-27 school year.
