Pony Express students honored as Best of SNO
STILLWATER AREA HIGH SCHOOL -- Recognized nationally for its work over the years, the Pony Express student newspaper continues to add to its historic accolades.
Three student stories have been honored by Student Newspapers Online (SNO) this year, including pieces written by Cole Nuss, Gigi Zawislak, Camryn Handberg, and Cathleen Costello.
Cole Nuss: Alex Funk selected for Senate Page program
Gigi Zawislak: "Clouds" by Zach Sobiech - the legacy that impacts everyone
Camryn Handberg and Cathleen Costello: Trust Club adapted cheer squad debuts
As one of the largest student media platforms in the country, high school and college newspapers nominate articles to SNO staff for consideration. Students honored as "Best of SNO" have a logo placed with their stories along with receiving a certificate of achievement. Through their journalistic explorations, SNO's rotating awards are held to showcase the best student journalism in the country.
