Stillwater leads the way in early learning during the pandemic
Our very own Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) program was featured on a Minnesota Department of Education’s webinar on Oct. 15. Parent educators from Stillwater shared how they’ve been able to engage with families and keep young children learning through nature-based activities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Stillwater’s ECFC began providing outdoor learning opportunities for young families in December 2020. They’ve continued to provide outdoor activities for all ages from birth to age 8 since and they've been a big hit. Learning outside has proven to be a safe and fun way for young children to connect and learn along with teachers and other kids their age.
