Summer learning is fun!
Students and staff were smiling as they kicked-off the Extended School Year (ESY) at Oak-Land Middle School. About 145 students from kindergarten through Bridge Transitions (21+) are taking part in summer learning. They're practicing academic and social skills, engaging in hands-on learning, and having fun together.
ESY is designed to support students with a variety of special needs in retaining skills that they have learned as part of their Individualized Education Program (IEP).

All students must have an up-to-date immunization record or exemption form on file with their school's health office or they can't attend school.

After serving as the assistant principal at Stillwater Middle School and interim assistant principal at Oak-Land, Ann Giardino has been named the new principal of Oak-Land Middle School.

19 teachers from Stillwater Area High School recently took part in an eye-opening experience through the EXCITE Teacher Externship program. The program aimed to give teachers a firsthand understanding of employer practices, workforce needs, and potential partnerships to better prepare their students for future careers.
