Where’s the school bus?
School bus route information will be emailed to families about a week before classes begin for students. If you have questions about transportation in the meantime, you can call 651-351-8377 or email schoolbus@stillwaterschools.org.
Please note, the MyStop app - used to track your school bus -will not be working as we begin the school year.
Later this fall, all buses in the district will be equipped with a new technology that will fix problems with GPS connectivity by installing a tablet on each bus. Tablets have been ordered, but are currently backlogged.
Once installed, the tablets will replace paper route sheets bus drivers use and provide turn-by-turn directions - a much safer way for them to navigate unfamiliar routes. Tablets will also provide a fast and efficient way to identify who is riding the bus and to ensure students make it safely to school and home. The new system will also improve the MyStop app, making it more reliable for families to know where their school bus is located and what time it is expected at their stop.
We’ll let you know when the new technology is installed and the MyStop app is back up and running. You can stay up-to-date on any busing delays or changes in service on Twitter @SchoolBus834.
