Suicide Prevention & Mental Health Support

The information on this page is a brief summary. For additional mental health resources or support, please contact your school's student support team.

Mental Health Supports

Student well-being is essential to academic success. Students experiencing emotional, behavioral, or mental health concerns are encouraged to seek support from a trusted adult at school, including a school counselor, school social worker, school psychologist, teacher, or administrator. The district partners with students and families to connect them with appropriate school and community resources.

Mental Health Crisis Resources

If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis or having thoughts of suicide, help is available 24 hours a day.

  • Call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
  • Text HOME to 741741 to connect with a trained Crisis Text Line counselor.
  • Washington County Mobile Crisis Services: 651-275-7400
  • In an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Students and families are encouraged to seek help whenever they are concerned about their own well-being or the well-being of another person.
