- It is the district’s intent to maintain the health, welfare and safety of students, staff and visitors while on district property, and to protect school district property.
- The behavior of individuals who come on to school property is a significant factor in maintaining order and discipline and protecting students, staff, visitors, and school district property. In addition, the behavior of riders on school buses is a significant factor in the safety and efficiency of school bus transportation.
- The school board recognizes the value of, and authorizes the use of, video/electronic surveillance systems in monitoring activity on school property and buses owned, operated, leased and/or contracted by the school district, as a means to protect the health, welfare, and safety of students, staff, visitors, and school district property.
