Annual
  1. It is the district’s intent to maintain the health, welfare and safety of students, staff and visitors while on district property, and to protect school district property.
     
  2. The behavior of individuals who come on to school property is a significant factor in maintaining order and discipline and protecting students, staff, visitors, and school district property. In addition, the behavior of riders on school buses is a significant factor in the safety and efficiency of school bus transportation.
     
  3. The school board recognizes the value of, and authorizes the use of, video/electronic surveillance systems in monitoring activity on school property and buses owned, operated, leased and/or contracted by the school district, as a means to protect the health, welfare, and safety of students, staff, visitors, and school district property.
