Address the School Board
Those who wish to address the school board may do so at a business meeting during the Public Comment portion of the agenda. Due to time limitations, we will limit the number of speakers to 15 who may speak for 3 minutes each. All speakers must sign up online in advance of the meeting.
Sign Up Online
The online signup form will be available at 8 a.m. on the Friday prior to a business meeting. Sign up will close 15 minutes prior to the start of the meeting. You will receive an email confirmation with additional information. If all 15 spots have been filled for the Public Comment session, you will be notified and invited to share your feedback or concerns at a future meeting or via email.
NOTE: You can always share concerns and comments with the School Board by emailing email@example.com.
Public Comment Expectations
The school board encourages community input. While comments and questions are welcome, law prohibits the board from discussing concerns about individual employees or students in a public meeting. The board will not deliberate, discuss, or engage in conversation with speakers. However, the board may ask administration to review the concern(s) presented.
Speakers must present their testimony in a respectful manner. Vulgarity, character attacks, malice or specific complaints identifying staff or students by name or implication will not be permitted.
We will stop the proceedings immediately if employee or student privacy issues are raised and direct the speaker to forward comments regarding individual employees or students to the superintendent.
